What companies are included in the Altria family?

What types of positions exist within the Altria family of companies?

Altria’s companies most frequently hire for sales positions nationwide (AGDC), as well as positions in the manufacturing facilities (PM USA, USST, JMC). In addition, the services companies (primarily ALCS) hire a wide variety of professionals to support the operating companies in the areas of Research and Development, Compliance, Human Resources, Legal, Information Systems, Government & Regulatory Affairs, Safety Health & Environmental, Procurement, Finance and Tax.

How do I apply for a position with the Altria family of companies?

Job seekers must apply online at www.cantbeattheexperience.com. You can either create a profile to begin your search or simply utilize the Search Job widget on the right navigation to see if there are any positions of interest…all from the home page of the Careers website!

Can I change my resume or profile once I have applied for a position?

No, once you have submitted your resume, it is attached to the job position and cannot be modified.

How long does the hiring process take?

While every position is different, salaried positions typically take 90 days to fill (from date requisition was posted to date job offer was accepted).

Is there a background check and drug test?

Yes, job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of both a background check and a drug test.

Do you offer developmental programs for further advancement?

Yes, most of our companies participate in enterprise-wide leadership development programs such as Discovery Days, Leadership Journey for New Managers and an Executive Leadership Forum. We also provide functional development programs such as Territory Sales Managers Foundations and an Engineering Leadership Development Program. We offer a very generous education reimbursement program for eligible salaried employees.
